Kaelen Cavalli is a Bay Area native, growing up in the East Bay. She still resides here with her husband, two kiddos and pups. Before joining the mortgage industry in 2015, she has an extensive background in marketing, sales and customer service.

Deanna Schmidt is also a Bay Area native, growing up in the East Bay. She still resides here with her husband, stepson and expecting a daughter this summer. With a background in mortgage processing, she has been in the mortgage industry 14 years, becoming a loan officer in 2018.

As a team we focus on what she feels is the most important: client education, clear and consistent communication, straying away from a transactional mentality and really focusing on building lasting relationships.

As a result of that focus, The KD TEAM runs their team and business a bit differently than the rest of the industry. We take a personal approach instead of a transactional one, so that everything lines up in the client’s actual best interest.   Providing a mortgage should be more than just trying to get you in a house, it should be done to make sure that your long-term goals will also be set up for success. Our goal is to be your guide, help you navigate the home buying process and be there for you afterwards, for years to come, making sure your goals are met.

When Kaelen and Deanna aren’t doing mortgages, you can find them enjoying the outdoors of the East Bay, at the gym, adventuring to Tahoe and spending time with their families.
